That is a very, very old version of Java.

You need to follow the installation instructions. The Java release should have
included specific instructions for setting up the plugin for that release. It
also depends on which browser you are using.
Normally you have to create a symbolic link from the plugin directory of the
browser to the plugin in the Java installation. The plugin is called
libjavaplugin_oji.so in later releases, you will need to locate it in your Java
release. I don't know where it is in such an old version of Java, use the find
command. It will probably be in jre/plugin directory tree.

yes that is old version. i have modified the java version.
this is my java applet plugin location : jre/plugin/i386/ns7/
