Cabos/Java Problem

Thread view:
TC - 19 Jan 2008 16:40 GMT
When I launch Cabos I receive the following error:

"The Java software cannot be loaded

Please visit Java software site to easily obtain the Java software"

When I goto http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp and click
Verify Installation I receive:

"You have the recommended Java installed (Version 6 Update 3)"

Any suggestions?

Without knowing anything about your machine and without being able to
sit down at it to explore here are some brute force instructions...

Uninstall all javas.

Delete any left over Java directories.

Go to http://mindprod.com/jgloss/jdk.html

Follow the instructions to install and test JDK 1.6.0_04

Thanks for the reply.  I followed all of your suggestions to no avail.

I finally solved the problem by adding the following:

c:\program files\java\jre1.6.0_04\bin

to the end of the PATH variable in Environment Variables.
