DES algorithm

Thread view:

Hello,

I create DES key:
Key keyOne = KeyGenerator.getInstance("DES").generateKey();
byte[] keyCode = key.getEncoded();

Now I want to create keyTwo identical with keyOne, based only on
keyCode variable.
How can I do that??

Regards, Mark

That should work:

DESKeySpec keySpec = new DESKeySpec(keyCode);
SecretKeyFactory skf = SecretKeyFactory.getInstance("DES")
SecretKey keyTwo = skf.generateSecret(keySpec)
