Missing jcert, jnet jars in Java 1.4.2

Thread view:
maxmike - 07 Mar 2005 21:01 GMT
I just installed JSDK 1.4.2 anew, to be sure; but I still don't see any
of these jars anywhere (only have jsse.jar) Are they no longer needed?
I'm asking because I have an HTTPS failure right now in a signed applet
and I'm wondering if my install is OK.
Thanks for a hint.

as far as i know, in 1.4.2 JSSE has been implemented based on the JCA/JCE
architecture and not on jcert and jnet. only older versions use jcert and
jnet.
