Work Group

Thread view:
sihle87@gmail.com - 25 Mar 2008 10:14 GMT
hello,

I've been given a laptop at work and it's on workgroup. it's has a
wireless network.

I have a little problem, i just want to know what is a work group and
whether is there an administrator who watches you in a work group and
can change things in it.
The reason for asking is that they told us(10 of us) that we can be
able to send e-mails to each other and contact each other but to my
suprise, we couldn't. I've been going to the net (through some network
which is not from work.), and then suddenly i couldn't go to the net,
my computer only shows that it is connected to some network but
doesn't go to the net. is it i'm disabled by the workgroup
administrator or i'm just panicking over nothing?

(sorry guys, my english is bad.)
-Thanks.

And in what way does this problem relate to Java programming?
