J2ME tools, libraries, todos

Hi All,

I am very new to J2ME & Java technologies. I knew Core Java well.
I am working as a software architect on Windows/VC++/.NET platform. I
have previous experience in architecture & design for Windows mobile
devices.

Now we have a project in J2ME technologies. It is my responsibility to
visit customer premises, collect the requirements, define architecture
& design and prototyping the project before I leave the customer
place.

I would like to collect the list of technologies/tools/libraries used
in the various projects to know the better technology options before
staring the project. For example, the database tool, unit testing
library, packaging, connectivity etc whatever used in your project &
advise me from your own learning.

We will have this project running for next 1 year, I will post my
experiences & technologies here for others experience.

I believe, this initiative will help me & others here to understand
the technologies/tools/design options used in different projects/
companies & will give a lot of information.

Thank you for your contributions.

Regards,
