APM or ACPI Java Package

Thread view:
sengsational - 13 Oct 2007 23:31 GMT
Has anyone here seen a package for advanced power management or for
the advanced configuration and power interface of a Windows system?

I poked around a bit, but didn't see anything.  I figured I could use
something like "native call" (http://eaio.com) from Johann Burkard,
but I'd hoped for something requiring fewer "discoveries" about the
idiosyncrasies of APM ACPI S3 S4 suspend hibernate bios on an Intel
box.

I'd like to be able to schedule (and de-schedule) wake-ups, learn if
my wake-up request was accepted, and things like that.

So I guess by the silence, I would be the first person in the Java
universe to attempt this feat.
