Free online Java test examination on saryos.com

Thread view:
zandyon@yahoo.com - 08 Oct 2007 14:20 GMT
Tip:
I have recently visited a website which makes it possible for every
one te test his / her Java programming skills. saryos.com offers three
levels (Beginners level, Medior, Advanced) Java test examinations.
After each test examination you can compare your answers with the
correct answers. I think that it is very handy.

Now p*ss off and stop wasting our bandwidth.

Further, you are yet another Google groups spammer***,

Your usual knee jerk reaction? I don't see any actual evidence to
support your accusations, plausible though they seem. Nothing in the
headers of the post indicate either a) any connection between the
poster and the domain saryos.com or b) that it was posted anywhere
else (it's definitely not a cross-post; of course you accuse him of
multiposting which is not easy to detect except by chance, or to
disprove either for that matter).

This message is from Zandyon.

Well, I surprised to find out through Yahoo, Altavista search that
this whole discussions has been pasted on other sites which I have no
access to them and they even don't recognize my email address while
they show it on their sites. Is that the way to distroy other small
companies?
Here the links to these sites:
I have already asked the webmaster of Velocity to remove it and he did
that but this one I just let it stay for other people who trust this
fourm.

I will be willing to explain your apparent misunderstandings
about usenet, just as soon as I hear the simple answer to
my simple question, requoted below.

"Do you have an affiliation with this site?  Yes or no?"

Why should this conversation be removed from the archives?

Can't you see? what ever I type here it would be pasted ont the
following site too (javakb) while I can't there defend my self against

I have made no accusations against you.  What are you talking about?

If you feel you must defend yourself, do it here where everyone can read what
you say.

This is a public forum.  Your censorious urges notwithstanding, people post
here knowing that their words are preserved for posterity.  What's said on
Usenet is for all intents and purposes permanent.  Why stops you from standing
behind what you post?

If you feel someone has said something unfair about you, why do you attempt to
hide the accusations instead of responding to them?

What have people said about you, and what is the truth?

I also want to know, what, if any, is your affiliation with sary...com?

There are several site in the internet that replicate information from
usenet. Google groups beeing probably the most popular, but there are
others out there (even paid ones) that also "paste" your posts (and mine
as well) to their sites.

This message is from Zandyon to Andrew and Lew,

you both ask me the same question and you both earlier in this
discussion accused me of spammer.
If you both have one single evidence to prove that I am a spammer then
please show this to every one in this forum and I promise you both to
answer your question honestly.

*What* *is* *your* *affiliation* *with* *Saryos*?

Why are you avoiding providing an answer?

That tells the reader more (and more clearly) than
any accusation that may or may not have been flung
your way.

Imagine if someone had asked.. "Oh, by the way,
how did you hear about the free testing?"  Would you
give them a simple answer, or p*ss them about, as
you have been trying to do here?

>If you both have one single evidence to prove that I am a spammer ...

Your conduct, and your evasive, defensive nature speak
louder than words.  But you are mistaken in thinking I
feel any need to prove anything.  *You* started this
conversation and that makes it your responsibility to
handle whatever comes.  That is just the way usenet
works.

What he said.

Act like an honest person and we might change our opinion.  Keep acting like a
fraud, as you've been doing, and reap the consequences.

What is your affiliation with Saryos?

Where have I accused you of being a spammer?

Until you made this ridiculous claim, I never said you were anythying, but
merely asked questions, which I notice you refuse to answer.

Now, I am convinced that you're a spammer and a fraud, Zandyon.  So, now, yes,
I'm calling you spammer.  Spammer.

Lew's last sentence before that, began with the words ..
"If you .." thereby making it an hypothetical point (as far
as I can best describe it).  It was /not/ an accusation.

FWIW - I will be blunt about the fact that my first post
accused you of a variety of things, and so far I have no
reason to my change my opinion on any one of them.

*What* *is* *your* *affiliation* *with* *Saryos*?

Forget it. Zandyon is a liar and a spammer.  You'll never get an answer from
that lying spammer.

Apparently you use something without knowing what it is. See

http://www.faqs.org/faqs/usenet/what-is/part1/

as to what Usenet is and what it's not. This is Usenet, you have to
accept whatever you post as being "released into the wild", i.e. you
lose control over it.

And unsolicited advertising is commonly called SPAM. Here's a nice
article on it:

Completely untrue.  It's called "spam".  "SPAM" is a trademark of Hormel Foods
for their canned meat product.

I am glad to see your reaction Andrew (Are you really Andrew?)
Do you want to be popular by attacking people? You need first to know
what Java is and what
kind of services saryos.com offers before attacking me. This site
offering his service for free and it is a good site. I advice you too
to visit it and judge it your self. Don't waste time to call me a
spammer and what else.........
I have posted this in many places because I want every one who wants
to learn Java benefit from the free services of Saryos instead of
paying alot of money for it.

Like Andrew I think you are a liar and spammer. I didn't bother to
check what kind of scam, ripoff or advertising deal you are running.
The fact that you see a need to spam for your site means you and that
site can not be trusted, because you have no ethics and don't respect
others. You have decided to go as low as the pills, phishing,
pump&dump spammers. You did chose the dishonest method of advertising
via spam with a disguise story "I have recently visited a website" Oh,
sure. We judge you by your dishonest methods. Now live with the
reputation you choose for yourself.

Another factor people judge, zandyon, is whether you react defensively and
derisively, characterizing people's responses as "attacks", or whether you are
contrite and forthright in your response, fully revealing your affiliation
with the web site and politely asking for permission to discuss your service.

If you were to respond in a defensive manner, characterizing people's
objections to your violations of prevailing social standards as "attacks"
rather than being nice yourself, then you would seriously degrade your
credibility to the point of non-existence.  You would then guarantee that no
one would visit the site for which you spam, thus depriving you of whatever
benefit you imagine you get by inducing people to visit it.  Is that your
intent, zandyon?

Having visited the website, I see that it is minimal - it has no "contact us"
or explanatory information, just plunges you into the site (once you
register).  It doesn't confirm email addresses of registrants.  Its copy is
not copy-edited.  There is a flat-out error on the "Text examination
information" page:

"... to get your exam result and recommendations basic [sic] on your answers."

It's also a bit unimaginative:
"Finally you have an opportunity to compare your answers with the correct
answers."

Yes, finally.

The layout is on the difficult-to-use side.  The visual design looks like it
came from a wizard.

Let's see how "correct" their answers are.

> 1- What appears in the standard output when this program is invoked?
> public class Loop {
[quoted text clipped - 11 lines]
>     }
> }

None of the answers allow for the possibility that no output or partial output
might appear.

There is no "next" or "submit answer" option on the exam questions.  The only
instruction is:
> Select the question which you want to answer by clicking on it.

I clicked on a checkbox but the page just sits there.  OK, I'll click on the
"Question 2" link and trust that somehow that submits my answer.

...

Nope.  It says I answered 0 of the five questions, when in fact, I answered
all five.

Navigation through the site is clumsy at best, completely useless on the
actual exam pages.  The layout is amateurish and the quality control nil.

This website needs a lot of work.  It is not suitable at present to support a
Java programmer's professional development.

I did that too, before my first reply, but..

..Oh yep.  That was the point where I bailed out.  I could not
actually be bothered checking if the email address needed
to be valid ( though I was tempted, for a moment, to offer up
'zandyon's yahoo address, and ask him ..her ..it to bounce
the password to me via the group ;).
