xp netbeans 6 svn client not recognized

I added svn binaries to the windows path and when i test it by opening
a windows cmd console the svn client works but netbeans 6 doesn't
recognize the svn client ?

Doesn't it?  (And perhaps more importantly)  Should we care
that you don't know how to use your own IDE?
