Eclipse the java IDE

Can anyone tell me if Eclipse offers any such way by which we Can
creat setup programs for java programs?

Eclipse AFAIK not. You probably need external tools / libraries for
something like that. I guess you mean something like an installer for
Java applications? In that case you could try LiftOff (http://
liftoff.sourceforge.net/index.de.html).

Have a look at Java Webstart. Andrew Thompson will tell you that soon
also :).

the JWS API, while here are some actual apps.
that use web start, listed/linked further down the page.

I would not rely on that.  My current WITUN only shows
post titles, and this was not a post where I was expecting
to see anything to do with application installation or launch.
In fact, I must be really bored to be opening messages
about people's (damnable) IDE's!
