I often agree with Tom as well, but I have no idea
what you are talking about. What is 'it'?*
Please refrain from changing the subject line of posts.
* Some news clients, including the web interface to usenet
that I use, will show a post to an existing thread with a new
or changed 'subject line', as a separate and distinct thread.
As a result of that, your 'reply' appears as a new thread,
& I have no idea why you are thanking Tom Hawtin, or
even what subject he was discussing at the time.

It wasn't a reply at all (other than the subject), it contains no Reference:
headers. Newsreaders which thread according to references also show it as an
isolated post.
