hi everyone,

can i use two tomcat webservers to exchange information between them?
how can i do that?

Please do not multi-post, that is, repeatedly send the same message to
separate groups.  Use multiple groups in the destination at once,
"cross-posting", as I did with this message, for those (very) rare times when
you need to reach more than one newsgroup simultaneously.  Multi-posting
splits up the conversations; cross-posting unifies them.  Usually you're
better off sticking with just one newsgroup.

There are sites that discuss netiquette - google for them and read them.  They
will help you avoid faux pas like top-posting, multi-posting, omitting SSCCEs
and others.

The answer to your questions:
yes.
The use of "web services", for example using SOAP, is one way.  Apache Axis is
one library that works well with Apache Tomcat.
