Handling mp3's in Java

Thread view:

Hi all,

I'd like to write a program that splits mp3 files after long enough
periods of silence (say 3 seconds, for example); this would be used to
chop up long recordings into smaller, more manageable pieces.

Are there any Java libraries that can handle this kind of task?

Thanks!
