code sample for JINI

Thread view:
Mr. X. - 29 Jun 2007 14:21 GMT
Hello,
I want to know about JINI technology,
what its pros and cons, and how can I use that technology
(using Eclipse SDK version 3.2.2).
Is JINI a good alternative for using databases ?

Need samples / tutorials, please.

Thanks :)

Take a look at the Javaone 2007 presentation on the subject.

Jini is not a database technology.  Read Real Gagnon's link.

Well, quite a documentation, thanks.

I am looking for some practical samples (simple application, like hello
world),
related to JINI.

Thanks :)

    Try http://www.jini.org for starters.
