Both of the Java articles at the website seem to be "(c) 20007". Which
seems too far into the future to be worth worrying about.
They are also "all rights reserved". Presumably this is intended to
prevent someone republishing the whole of or substantial portions of the
article and not aimed at preventing people from using similar Java
source code?
If the OP isn't planning their first Java project to be writing XML and
cloning objects, they might like to look at
