HEAP SIZE IN JAVA

No.

It does if you do something like System.out.println(myverylargeobject) with
a myverylargeobject which implements toString() in such a way that it
returns a very large String.

This should not happen if you followed the advise from the Javadoc
("toString() ... the result should be consive but informative ..."), but...
