Thread view:

Hi,
This is e real newbie question.

I try to write some text to A JEditorPane

<snip>
    JEditorPane display = new JEditorPane();

        public void writedisplay() {
            display.setText( "first!" );
            display.setText( "last!" );
        }
</snip>

When I try to get it to another file (to safe it)
<snip>
    try {
         FileWriter out = new FileWriter(outputfile);
         out.write(display.getText());
         out.close();
    }
</snip>
it contents only the last textline.
I guess I have to adjust my writedispay() method?

Thanks for helping,

A good group for newbies is comp.lang.java.help.

     display.setText( display.getText() + "last!" );
