Need custom software - pay good!

Thread view:

Hello,

Maybe I'm at the wrong place but you'll never know :) , so I'll try...
I need somebody who can create a custom software for my small
transportation company. We're moving cars nationwide and there is
website where brokers are posting loads/cars. What we need is a
advanced search tool who can search this website every 20 seconds for
new loads and when a new load becomes available to notify us in some
way. If somebody is interested I'll give him the details about the
website and everything.
Thanks in advance

What web site?  What is the address?

Do the terms of use of this web site, permit such
remote interrogation of their knowledge base?
Do the hosts provide other (alternate) 'feeds' of new cars?

If the site hosts permit the type of interrogation you need,
they most probably have a more efficient means of
connecting to the data.  If not, what you are proposing might
well be illegal, and most probably fragile (easily broken) -
which in turn would cause significant ongoing maintentance
costs.

Any developer who offers to do this task for you without
making that clear, is either a rogue, or too inexperienced
to do the job effectively.
