My luck with that seemed to vary, but firstly, it only works (i
think) when you start tomcat in debug mode.

It's pretty easy.
First of all just configure - Tomcat (Eclipse Preferences -> MyEclipse-
>Application Server).
Then set capability to eclipse project as webroject.
Then on toolbar use button to deploy project on server .
Do u have a licience for MyEclipse , if yes u can ask them directly to
help u.
