Hello everyone,

I am designing a smart class room for my final year project, and I
need a rule engine to check for rules and I was told by my supervisor
to look at jess could anyone plz help me. It seems like a whole new
language if I had to learn JESS. The only thing i need to do with JESS
is check the database and act accordingly for so and so condition, in
simple terms execute some rules based on the values present in the
database. Any help would be great thanks in advance !!!!

The point is that the external rules files can be more rococo and harder to
maintain than hard-coding would've been, and it needs the code that
hard-coding would've had anyway, so it saves the programmer / maintainer less
than zero work.

with JESS connecting to a database ?
