problem with database connection

Hi,

I am developing an application using swing on netBeans 5.5 .
For database I make connection with MySQL 5.0 database with driver
Connector/J. I was able to make connection.But I am not able to insert
records into database from GUI.
What steps are necessary to make it possible to perform above
operation?

Can anybody help me?

Why not? What are the exceptions, input, output, code..?
