Search engine in Java

Hello

I'm searhcing for people
that would write specific search engine
in java from scratch or modify
heritrix ( http://crawler.archive.org/ ).

I want to find investors and most of them
want team that is ready to take action.

I'm especialy look for fresh graduates
or last lears of Univeristy.

Is lucene web scalable?

I mentioned heritrix becouse
it indexed about 2bln sites.

And nucht/lucene had like 8 million
case study, so thats why i choose heritrix

Lucene was written largely by an ex Google researcher.  I'm guessing
that it is indeed scalable.

I missed some facts.
Nutch had 100 million pages demo in 2003.

I think i'll look for commercial support
for nutch/lucene.

Ps. Still heritrix is working on 2bln pages
right now, do you know what is biggest
index made with nutch?
