Dear sir/mam

       Can you explain what is a" web container" and a "servlet
container",also what are the differences and similarities between a
servlet container and web container,and what are the other container
available in J2EE.

I think they are practically same.
'Web container' is rarely used.

Is this homework?

I hear the term "Web container" a lot, but then my work is heavily geared to
writing JSPs and servlets. I use it as a synonym for "servlet container". I am
not aware of formal definitions for these terms, but then I haven't Googled on
your behalf yet, either. Does your professor have definitions they prefer?

Have you even tried Google or Wikipedia?
