You may want to ask this question on the Eclipse NTTP server
news.eclipse.org

You could try these newsgroups: eclipse.newcomer or eclipse.tools.jdt

You will need a free account\password to post to that news server. You
can get one here: http://www.eclipse.org/newsgroups under "Related Links".

Also 2.1 is a very old version of Eclipse. You may want to install the
latest version which is 3.2.1 And then work from there.
