Java manual download

Thread view:
Käpistys - 05 Dec 2006 11:28 GMT
Hello.

Where could I download necessary files for manually installing the
latest jdk to windows environment? I've only found places where I can
download the installer file, which is not applicable in my case.

Thanks in advance.

What's the difference?

IF you visit this page..
<http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp>
And follow the '>> Download' link for 'JDK 5.0 Update 10',
it takes (me) to a page where the top-listed link in a
table is 'Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language'
at 50.62 Mb.  Is that what you need?

The JavaDcos (highly recommended) are available
further down that first page..

As I said, this is not applicable in my case. Behind that link is an
exe file, that tries to use the windows installer service, which
doesn't work with me.

What I would need, is is for example a zip file, where is the needed
JDK's filestructure.

Does anyone know if there is such a zip file available for download
somewhere?
