A small problem with Eclipse and Tomcat

Thread view:
Giuseppe Bonaccorso - 14 Oct 2006 23:06 GMT
I use Eclipse with the internal server manager in order to
run directly my web apps. However when I try to access the
admin page of Tomcat I always get a 404 error... I think
that Eclipse modifies the context in server.xml, but I don't
know how to use both "bundled" tomcat and the standalone
version. Is there a solution ?

Thanks

Hi,

You can try using the sysdeo tomcat plugin - I've seen that being used
more commonly in situations where you've to configure and run tomcat
from within eclipse, as well as standalone (ofcourse one at a time).

-cheers,
Manish
