(Please put a capital letter at the beginning of each sentence.)

Ok.. I'll bite.

What is "viva"?

This search does not narrow it down much..

It's an abbreviation of the Latin "viva voce".  Basically it's an oral
examination (being asked questions, rather than having your teeth
checked).  It's like defending a thesis.

In English academic life, a "viva exam" is an oral examination. For
example, a doctoral student's thesis defense might be described as a
viva. The term is derived from "viva voce", Latin for "live voice".

Here's my take on the meaning of the original article:

It looks as though Palistha's group has been doing an academic project,
has done the program implementation part of the project in Java, but has
not yet done the background study and literature search.

They are going to be expected, in a few days, to demonstrate their
familiarity with their project area under live questioning by some
experts. They are looking for pointers to material on video broadcasting
concepts that they can study quickly, and ideas for questions they might
be asked.
