New to java

Hello there! I've learned in highschool C++ and now i've decided to
learn some basic java. Can someone tell me some good tutorials,
programs that i might or maybe just some good advices. Thanks!

Since you have some programming experience, download the JDK from
java.sun.com and install it.  Then read the Java Tutorial at:

http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/index.html

Be sure to download the docs too.  They take a while to extract and
install but they are very handy.
