job scheduler free software quartz?

has anyone used quartz in production?
what is the best java scheduler? (free anyway)

Yes I do... And I just recommend it for non critical processes. It's
simple and do it's job but be careful with exceptions. For example, we
have some problems when a job doesn't start then it's get on error
status and maybe you have to treat it.  Although this I recommend it
even for production.
