We are creating a wiki for our dev. team, and one of the questions that
came up is we have a lot of documents in an existing database which we
don't want to have to pull out and add to the wiki.  We like the idea
of the wiki, and the search capabilities, is there way to link the wiki
to the  DB's so when you do search, it would pull up the results from
the DB as well?

What Wiki are you using? There are a lot of Wiki's out there. I use
pmWiki and they do have some recipes that allow you to do that. Backends
for Wiki's is php. Why are you asking a Java group.

Thanks in Advance...

MediaWiki (Wikipedia) software is open source and it uses background
database. It suggests using Native XML databases but I think you could
use SQL database as well (MySQL). The structure of database is explained
in its documentation. Your question was a bit of ambiguous but I hope
I've helped you at least a bit. Clarify your question if you need more
information.
