Data Migration Validation (DB-LDAP)

Thread view:
aslatha@gmail.com - 19 Jul 2006 17:49 GMT
We are performing Data migration from Oracle to LDAP (Sun One) where we
are migrating around 400,000 users. But we would want a efficient
mechanism to compare - one-on-one- records from LDAP with that of the
DB. Is there any good mechanism that someone can suggest.

Currently we have an approach of doing a DB spool as a file and
comparing the LDIF (converting back to SPool format). But it is a slow
process....any ideas to optimize this, or any new ways of doing the
one-on-one comparison.

Please help.

This has nothing to do with Java. Try another group.
