The Project    North Delhi Power Limited an Electricity Distribution
Company in North & NorthWest circles of Delhi.
DEBS is acronym for Decentralized Electricity Billing System, which is
developed to cater the functional requirements of decentralized Billing
System for NDPL.
It mainly comprises of three sub-systems viz.
1. Connection management sub system
The Connection Management sub system comprises of new connections,
maintenance of connections, maintenance of connection status's,
maintenance of disconnection, maintenance of meter books and
consumption details
2. Billing sub system
The Billing sub system consists of generation of regular bills,
printing of regular bills, revised bills, up to date bills, final
bills, installment bills, maintenance of bills, JE generations,
payments affected by Court cases, change in tariff structure, and
yearly recalculation of consumption deposit.
3. Payments sub system
The Payments sub system consists of payment collection, transfer of
funds, cheques clearance, bounced cheques entry, posting of cheques and
refund of security. Payment will be collected at circle level from all.
Payments made other than at districts will be entered at DVB Shakti
Sadan and will be downloaded to respective circles at the end of the
day.
Currently this project is in Maintenance and Development phase
