usable to locate tools.jar

"Unable to locate tools.jar. Expected to find it in C:\Program
Files\Java\jre1.6.0\lib\tools.jar"

Anyone recognise that message?   It seems to be confused looking in
the JRE instead of he JDK.

You probably checked this but anyway: is your JAVA_HOME env. var
pointing to the installation dir of JDK?

it was ok. uninstall/reinstall the JDK fixed it. I  think the trouble
may have been introduced when I installed a beta 6 over another beta
6.

Whatever it was, uninstalling and reinstalling the JDK cleared it up.
