Layout ignored on j2me MIDP 2.0 GUI Form items

Thread view:

Hi,

I am developing an midlet for the Tao Intent MIDlet Manager on the
Orange SPV M2000 running Windows Mobile 2003 SE.

The layout constraints I am putting on items placed on forms are being
ignored. For example, I cannot change the size of TextField items. The
layout constaints are not being ignored on my emulator, just on the
device.

Has anybody seen and overcome this before?

Thanks

Read the spec. Platforms are not required to honor the layout and can
layout UI items differently is they so choose.
