java vm and multicore

any body know if any vm exist that can use the new multi-core cpu?

Don't the two cores just show up as two processors as far as the JVM is  
concerned?  The Apple JVM reports two processors when running on an Intel  
CoreDuo.  I'm pretty confident that the latest Sun VM for Windows (and  
probably Linux too) should do likewise.  Someone will no doubt correct me  
if I am wrong.
