Taking a java course...

I am planning to take the SUN's Java Programming course SL-275. and I
would like to know any ideas on how to do well and learn as much as
someone can from this. Any tips for before and after studying? I am
also planning to take java certification I after this course... Does
this course prepares well for the certification?
Please let mek now your views... I have a bachelors in Computer science
and i did java progamming in college but thats about it. and most of it
i dont even remember now... so i am thinking of taking this as a memory
refreshining....

this is a great course.  anywhere else it might not sound so great, but
from sun instructor's
it is AWESOME.  they are extremely qualified. and if you're bored with
the course material, you can ask tons of questions.  you will learn
things only few know, and things that may not be in books.

I found the best way to pass the java certification was to purchase the
practice exam (on the sun website). The questions are very similiar to
the real exam and give you a very good idea of what to study.
