Performances de l'import

Thread view:
Finder - 19 Apr 2006 17:43 GMT

ancien GO :
random_2000000_reels.txt : 9 min (Xmx 512, sans ordonnancement)
random_2000000_reels.txt : 14 min (Xmx 512, avec ordonnancement)

nouveau GO :

continue demain.

I can attempt to translate, but either I'm not doing a good job or
Finder is asking about a specific product, and I don't know what it
is.

I have a performance problem with the import.  I've done some tests
and here are the results:

Old GO: (you get the rest -- not sure what ordonnancement means)

> nouveau GO : random_2000000_reels.txt : 26 min (Xmx 512, sans
> ordonnancement) random_2000000_reels.txt : 52 min (Xmx 512, avec
> ordonnancement)

New GO: (same)

I don't remember that it was so long; it needs to be tested with the
CVS version, which I will do tomorrow.

I would very much like to profile the application to find the hot spots,
but I haven't found any that are convincing and free (not sure if I got
that part of the translation right).  I'll continue tomorrow.
