Training for IDEA

Thread view:
eric.passmore@gmail.com - 12 Apr 2006 23:49 GMT
Hi,

Can anyone recommend some companies which provide training on
IntelliJ/IDEA? I'm looking for two different classes.

The Basis - Pretty much the same as the IDEA In Action book that just
came out. A 2 day intro to IDEA covering Setup, Editing, Testing,
Debugging, Integrating with Application Server, and Understanding ant
builds.

Advanced - How on creating re-usable projects in IDEA for large
developer communities. For example where do the tag libs go? Also
covering plugins as a way of extending IDEA.

Any suggestions? Any reviews.

Thanks

I was looking over the JetBrains site to see if they offered anything.
I did not see it, but I noticed everyone in the company has a Russian
name.  Presumably most of them live in Russia where they would not be
available to do seminars.

It is interesting the two most impressive Java tools come out of
Russia, IntelliJ and Jet.

You might talk to the Documentor people who do trainings. They might
be able to arrange a custom course.

JetBrains HQ is in Prague, but they do apparently have an R&D office in
St. Petersburg.
