Eclipse build problem - please help

Thread view:
Tom Jastrzebski - 08 Apr 2006 06:17 GMT
Hello everyone,

Please help as I am starting pulling my hair out - and I really do not do it
often.

For any reason Eclipse will not build my project.
There are no errors, it creates package structure in the "default output
folder", copies some resources, and even compiles one class. Yes, some
classes have problems, and I have excluded those from the build path.
I have also increased the number of errors to 1000.
I select Project/Build Project and nothing happens.
If I enable "Build Automatically" the progress bar shows and disappears
immediately.
Btw, I can build the same project from Eclipse using Ant with no problems.
Does maintain any build log?
It is the latest version 3.1.2

Any ideas? Please help.

I've noticed it seeming to do nothing when you build if you have something
on your build path that doesn't exist. Usually in this case though if you
look under the "problems" tab it'll say something like "project x could not
be built as there are problems with the build path". Worth a look.
