export images from jsp to excel

I have a JSP file that allows user to view output in Excel with a push
of a button. My problem is that the images are not displayed in Excel.
Please help!

find a program that sends a stream that Excel can digest. Watch it
working with a sniffer. See http://mindprod.com/jgloss/sniffer.html

then watch your JSP doing the same thing. Make it behave the same way.
