Hi,
I m new to Java. Is it possible for an offline browser to fetch the
webpages from generated result of a search engine ?

Any help would be Appreciable.
Thanx in advance.

To do this, the browser would have to (perhaps temporarily) go online to
access the search engine.

An signed Applet or a JAWS app can pretend to be a human/browser and
milk a search engine. However, the only one you could use offline
without an Internet connection is Google Desktop that indexes your
local disks. (or similar)
