I'm semi-virgin at this too. I'm a 43 year old college junior and am
fortunate enough to have classes to take inre Java and other things. It's
frustrating sometimes because I'm used to working on hardware, etc. but I've
been able to make A's in all of my comp sci classes because I'm having a
blast. Don't give up when it seems the hardest. I've been at it a year now
(Java, any programming) and I feel like I should know more, but I'll never
give it up. It's too much fun. The Aha! factor is the most rewarding for me.
Good Luck!
