Newsgarbage user-controlled tech news site goes into beta!

Thread view:

www.newsgarbage.com, a new user-controlled technology news site has now
gone into beta.
Newsgarbage works in a similar way to other news sites, such as
slashdot or digg.com, but allows much greater user control, through
it's "bag or bin" philosophy, over which stories get promoted to the
front page, or indeed, get dumped into the Trash pool! An array of
user-oriented tools and features will be added over the following
weeks, and the owners of the site are keen to make the site "what the
users want" and encourage people to sign up, start using the site and
tell them what they'd like to see!
