Java 2ME: image to blocks

Hello, All!

  Who knows how to show image by many pieces (like in a slideshow)
  or may be you know where can i read about it?

You need to have the picture already broken up into pieces. There are no
APIs in the MIDP to do it for you.

why?
is it possible to create new layer on image and then
in random pieces destroy layer?
there are many slide show midlets where are many effects
but i don't know how to do it and no info to create it

Why *should* the MIDP include such APIs? That's alot to expect of a
platform for resource constrained devices.

Yes, you can manually render the images yourself onto a Canvas, which is
why i said "[y]ou need to have the picture already broken up into
pieces". If you have the pieces then you can render them however you wish.

They exist because the developers had to do the work themselves.
