class files not generated

Thread view:
vsingr - 30 Dec 2005 16:01 GMT
I have around 12 projects in my workspace of RAD 6. When I build the
projects the class files are not being generated for a few of the
projects while I can see them in others. However if i directly look at
the hard Drive from my  Windows Explorer I do not see the class files
for any of the project. Can any one point me in the right direction to
get this working?
Thanks
Sri

This isn't really a Java question, it's a problem with the IDE that you are
using.

According to my quick Google search, RAD 6 is essentially an upgrade of
Websphere WAS 5. I think you'd do better finding a newsgroup or forum for
RAD 6. I assume that IBM has a support organization and newsgroups that
support RAD 6. I just checked on the news.software.ibm.com news server and
there are many Websphere newsgroups there. I don't know which particular one
will help with RAD 6 questions but if you try one of the websphere forums
there, someone will probably point you in the right direction.

Of course you can stay right here but I'm not sure how many RAD 6 users will
use this newsgroup or reply to your question, especially since you don't
mention RAD 6 in your title line. If you want to stay with this newsgroup, I
would repost your question and make sure RAD 6 appears in the subject line.
That will improve the odds of RAD 6 users actually reading your post.

Do you have the setting checked to build automatically?  (On the menu
bar go under Project --> Build Automatically).  If it is, try the clean
option under the same menu.
