Need help with streaming audio in Java

Thread view:
yakovfain@gmail.com - 28 Dec 2005 13:35 GMT
Hello everyone,

Usually I'm listening to a particular Internet radio station.  I wonder
if anyone tried to write a Java program that would get an audio stream
from the Internet, and save it in a file for future listening?

I'd appreciate any references/code samples.

Happy New Year!

It seems the JMStudio software that comes with the JMF

mentions both RTP and sound capture.

I have been using JMStudio to strip sound tracks out of
MOV files, amongst other things.
