Why on Earth don't you just attend classes? It is so much more
fullfilling than not learning.

Personally I found learning on my own from the textbook much more efficient
and less bothersome than going to class.  A lot of people do benifit from
actually attending the lectures though, and I would recommend it.

Depends on the class.  Some professors are worth listening to.   Math and
programming classes rarely fall in this category

Highly depends on the class. I have attended math lectures that left you
_understanding_ even deep and complex subjects, and lectures which where
just plainly a waste of time.
