It's slow. The applets/craplets break or don't work half the time.
It's a resource hog. It takes up too much disk space. It takes a
computer technician to install much of the time.
I f.cking HATE IT.

I LOVE JAVA
It's fast.
The applets are working most of the time and are very secure.
It doesn't invade my OS.
A monkey could be able to install it.
I REALLY LOVE JAVA!!!

So uninstall it and stop whining (or take your whining
somewhere appropriate, such as c.l.j.advocacy*).

You mean BROWERS have always caused problems. Applets work once you
understand the necessity of the sandbox. I can't believe that so many
corporations allow JavaScript/activeX to run on their browsers. It is
just begging to be screwed over.

Do you have particular complaints about the security model of
JavaScript?

You think of Java as like a toaster. It is more like a horse or an
aircraft. You have to spend considerable time learning to use it
before it will behave for you.

What can I say, Trevor...I think you just proved to every member here
that you're obviously not an educated developer...
Please do everyone a favor: remove yourself from this group...
