Java Printing System (JPS) and Network Printer

Hi,

does someone know if its possible to access a printer in the network,
which is reachable via the IPP-protocol, by JPS?

Only if you add a third-party IPP print-service provider to the JPS.
There are a few around. I have no detailed experience with any of them.
