UML Producer

Thread view:
bakarirum@gmail.com - 29 Nov 2005 17:11 GMT
I just want a product that will take existing Java Code/Packages/etc
and create a GUI UML product.  I don't want to create the UML by hand.
Is there a product out there?

Thanks in advance.

Poseidon used to be about the best you could get for free, I think it may
not be now.

There are *lots* of programs that will create UML class diagrams.  Not many
however create sequence diagrams and other UML diagrams.  Try searching the
web for "reverse engineering".

One possibility is eclipse with omondo.

Oracle JDeveloper is free now. It will generate UML or Java Class
diagrams for you.

I have used a few and found the JUDE fits best for me. It's has small
footprint but very good. And they have a free version. The latest is
called, 'JUDE Community 2.4.2 Model version 20'.
